Our Craft Workshops and Parties
Whether you want to book a workshop for a party or get together at your home or venue, we have a range of craft classes to suit all abilities. We focus on crochet, knitting, macramé, and polymer clay with simple, clear guidance and no pressure to be perfect. We come to your venue in East Lothian, the Scottish Borders or Edinburgh, but can travel further depending on distance - just get in touch and we can discuss.
We believe that making should feel good (not stressful) so our workshops are designed to be supportive, sociable, flexible, and full of small wins.
Whether you’re brand new to craft or looking to build on what you already know, our private classes and parties offer a welcoming space to learn, create, and connect.So If there is something you are really keen to do, but isn't on our list, please get in touch - we will do our best to help! Crochet
Whether you would like to take on a project such as a Granny Square or an adorable pumpkin, or you would like to go right back to basics, we tailor this workshop to take you through some basic techniques and stitches at the right level to suit everyone in the party.
Suitable for: complete beginners and beyond
Duration: 2 or 3 hours
Price: From £24 per person (at your venue)
Participants: 4-8
Includes: a hook, all yarn and a guide to takeaway
Knitting
We offer one off classes where we take you through some basic stitches to complete a project such as a headband, as well as multi-event classes to take on more comprehensive projects such as socks and hats.
These are all suitable for complete beginners and we can completely tailor them to your group.

Duration: 1x 3 hours (intro and headband) or 2x 3 hours (socks and hats)

Macrame jewellery
The perfect workshop for all abilities and absolutely ideal for parties or get togethers. This workshop teaches participants how to make their very own necklaces and bracelets using macrame techniques. Great for all abilities, even those in your group who "don't do crafting"!
Suitable for: complete beginners
Duration: 1.5 hours
Price: From £20 per person (at your venue) Minimum 4 participants
Max participants: 12
Includes: enough cord and fastenings to make 2 necklaces or a necklace and a bracelet
Polymer clay
A fun and creative workshop, we provide everything you need to make your own earrings, necklace or magnet from polymer clay. This works best either as a 2 part workshop where we take your creations away to bake before bringing them back to complete the pieces, or where there is a natural break in the event of around an hour (eg in a party with food and games) to allow us to cure the pieces before completing them together.

Kids' workshops
A creative workshop designed specifically for kids from any of the crafts we teach. Whether it's crochet scrunchies, knitted headbands or polymer magnets, we make sure that each child has something to take away that they are proud of, as well as the skills to keep going with a new hobby
Suitable for: complete beginners, usually age 8 plus
Duration: 1.5 hours

Max participants: 8 for crochet or knitting, 12 for macrame or clay
