Ready to move beyond the basics? Learn to make a classic Granny Square. In this workshop, we’ll make our own traditional Granny Squares while building confidence in following a written pattern and learning how to “read” your crochet — so you can spot and fix mistakes once you’re working at home. This class includes chain, double crochet and slip stitch (US terms). If you’d like to learn how to create a magic circle, we can cover that as an optional extra during the session. By the end of the workshop, you’ll: • Understand how Granny Squares are constructed • Feel more confident following a pattern • Be able to troubleshoot common mistakes • Strengthen stitches that transfer to countless other projects Once you can make a Granny Square, the possibilities are endless - blankets, cardigans, bags, headbands and more. All attendees receive a printed stitch guide and access to a video recap after the class. As always, class sizes are kept small to ensure everyone receives individual support.
