By making our own classic Granny Squares, we will be learning how to read and follow a pattern as well as starting to learn how to "read" our crochet work to troubleshoot when we are out of the class. As always, the class is accompanied by a stitch guide as well as a video recap of the content of the class. This class incorporates chain, double crochet and slip stitches (US terms). If participants would like to learn how to create a magic circle, we can do this as well as a optional extra. You will leave the class with an understanding of how Granny Squares are constructed as well as skills in key crochet stitches which are transferable to so many projects.

Once you can make a Granny Square, you can use this as the basis of so many projects from blankets, to cardigans, to headbands!
